PCAT (PreCast Advanced Track) is a revolutionary new track bed solution for modern transport systems. PCAT systems are designed to minimise the cost of a precast track bed, whilst increasing the speed of build for railways, metros and guided bus routes.

In addition, ongoing maintenance is minimised in order to provide maximum availability of the transport infrastructure – compared to ballasted heavy rail track, a PCAT HS-HR reduces routine maintenance by upto 90%.

Uniquely, if major maintenance of the sub-grade below the slabs is required over the long term, all PCAT slab systems are removable in modules, allowing easy access to the sub-grade or to services that may be in the ground below the track bed.

This patented technology combines all the benefits of slab track systems with the ability to maintain the sub-grade if required.
